Synopsis
"Hedwig and the Angry Inch" is a musical that follows Hedwig, a gender-queer East German singer, as she tours the U.S. with her band. The story is recounted through Hedwig's own words, revealing her journey, including a botched sex change operation and a past love affair that ends in heartbreak. The musical explores themes of identity, love, and self-acceptance while being hilariously funny and heartbreaking.
